Stéphanie Mader - PhD in Computer Science / Game Designer

Creating great and interesting experiences for people is my main motivator. It may be by improving existings things or by providing new kinds of experiences. Video game is the media I use the most to provide such experiences. This is due to my passion for them, my passion for technologies and computer sciences, and mostly because there is so much possibilities to explore with video games.

In November 2015, I've defended my PhD Thesis about game design methods for therapeutic games and I'm currently involved on serious games projects as a researcher at CEDRIC (computer science lab of CNAM). In parallel, I continue to practice as a game designer (freelance and indie projects). Most of my personnal projects are weird experiments done during game jams. I also teach game design at IUT Bobigny and ENJMIN and give workshops and conferences once or twice a year.
